Not only did John come up with a unique theme for an arcade cabinet, but he also went the extra mile literally "sculpting" custom pieces for his build.
In a move some might say more foolish than bold, RetroBlast frontman Kevin Steele is handing over the keys to the RetroBlast.com website to a bunch of slack-jawed ...

The North County Times out of California has a nice write up on a recent Super Auctions event that took place recently in Temecula.
From reading through the article, it would definitely appear that the current 30-something generation that grew up in the 80's and 90's spending more time at the mall in the arcade than the library has definitely come into their own and are still nostalgic about owning a piece of their childhood and teenage years.
There was another Super Auctions this past Saturday in Detroit, but sadly, I was unable to attend to get a run down on pricing and what condition and price things went for. But, if any of you readers happened to be there and can give us a rundown on what happened, feel free to hit that little Discuss Button down there and fire up a conversation.
Personally, these are a little too flamboyant for me, which probably is just a sign of my age, but they certainly do match up with the colors that were so popular for the 80s.

You know, your lady will think this stuff is tha shizzle when she opens that box on Christmas Day thinking she got that tennis bracelet she's been asking for, for years now.
And ladies, if you're looking for something to offset that little black number that you'll be wearing to the local arcade while your man goes for the Pac-Man world record, here's a little bling to make you shine!
Um, yeah, ok, well that'll never happen, but a man can dream can't he?!?
This is a remastered (read PSP'd) version of Rondo of Blood, however the graphics have been enhanced with 3D like settings and the play has been optimized for the PSP.
I had the opportunity to sit down and play for a good hour last night and it really took me back. This is classic 2D side scroller action with the same type of play that we all flocked to in the original NES titles back in the day.
The PSP version features unlockable versions of both Rondo of Blood (The Original Version of NEC PC Engine fame) and Symphony of Night.
It's definitely not something you're going to finish in one sitting as the controls take some getting used to and I've realized how old I actually am since my reflexes and anticipation skills aren't what they used to be.
